Every other year for Christmas Corey's parents give us a family trip. It's always so fun to see where we're going and anticipate the fun we'll have together. This year we went to Hatch......Utah. You may not have heard about Hatch but I'm willing to bet you've heard of Zion National Park & Bryce Canyon National Park, both a quick drive from, you guessed it....Hatch. One thing you should know about a Larrabee family trip is that it's a
trip, not a vacation. We try to cram in all the fun possible and I think we did a pretty good job this year. We went to Navajo Lake and had a picnic lunch and caught bunches of frogs in every type of container we could find, bread bags, alfalfa sprout boxes, etc.

Tate really got into the toenail painting. I let him do mine and I wish I would have thought to take a picture. It took Kari more than a second to fix them!

Zion was amazing as usual. When Corey and I were going to school in Cedar we had a year pass because it was so close, but I don't think we've been down since and it's just breathtaking. So fun to hike around with the kids and be amazed at all they do.
I'd never been to Bryce Canyon and it was amazing as well. We went to a ranger presentation and learned all about it. We went so the boys could earn their jr. ranger badges, but I'd highly recommend it, very interesting.
We couldn't resist the cousin photo op!
These two have been best friends from the start & I love it!
We also hiked around in Cedar Breaks, went to Panguitch Lake, had a few good runs, a few good bike rides, a few movies that most of us fell asleep to, and much more. The boys favorite part of the trip (ironically) was catching horned toad lizards at the cabin. Thanks Stan and Blyth! It's always so good to be together!
